Lake Macquarie Pickleball Club Inc
Lake Macquarie Pickleball Club Inc is a non-profit association incorporated by the NSW government. It is run by a committee of passionate volunteers elected by its members and is affiliated with Pickleball NSW and Pickleball Australia.
Our mission is to encourage and facilitate growth in the sport of Pickleball through an increase in player numbers, player skills, and playing venues.
The objects of the Association are as follows:
To promote and further the sport of pickleball throughout the Lake Macquarie Local Government Area (LGA) of New South Wales.
Specifically to:
(1) provide pickleball players in the local area with a wide array of playing opportunities, competitions and coaching;
(2) bring together pickleball players in the local area for the purpose of improving their social and cultural experience through offering member events and activities;
(3) encourage and facilitate growth in the sport of Pickleball through an increase in player numbers, player skills, and levels of participation;
(4) uphold and maintain the code of conduct and other policies of PANSW plus rules and regulations of Pickleball in New South Wales;
(5) be the voice of members in dealings with governments, statutory authorities, corporations, influencers, and others, in order to advance the recognition, status, and amenity of Pickleball within the Lake Macquarie LGA, with emphasis on securing the provision of additional playing venues;
(6) enter into arrangements with any government authority, local, state or otherwise, that may seem conducive to the Association’s objectives or any of them and to obtain from any such government authority any rights, privileges and concessions which the Association may resolve it desirable to obtain, and to carry out, exercise any comply with any such arrangements, rights, privileges and concessions;
(7) to own, lease, construct, improve, maintain, develop, work, manage, carry out, alter or control any buildings, grounds, works or conveniences which may seem calculated directly or indirectly to advance the Association’s interests, and to contribute to, subsidise or otherwise assist and take part in the construction, improvement, maintenance, development, working, management, carrying out, alteration or control thereof;
(8) assist and encourage communication between club members and to provide members with information about pickleball in Lake Macquarie LGA and elsewhere;
(9) promote the financial, economic and sporting success, strength and stability of the Association and to act interdependently with each Affiliated Association in pursuit of these objectives; and
(10) do all things incidental to assisting in achieving the objects of the Association.
